Playbook

      To all of my valued members,
      My name is Kevin Glenn and I wanted my first blog to be a sort of introductory segment about me.
      I created my website, www.legendsoftheswamp.com because I have a passion for the Florida Gator football team. I was once a valuable member of the Gator squad from 1989-1993.
      I started out my Florida career as a walk on wide receiver in Fall of 1989. Galen Hall was the head coach at the time and Emmitt Smith was the star player on the team.
      That Fall my father did not pay his car payment one month so I could pay for the insurance that was necessary for me to try out for the team. He told me to give it my all and have no regrets. I love him for that.
      One thing to remember is that I had sat the bench for all 3 years I played for the Brandon High School football team.
      Therefore, my parents were not exactly thrilled about my decision to try out for a school with a top notch program like UF. I soon found out that I was a rare kind of player. I had no statistics from high school, no film, no credentials. In fact, you needed a letter of recommendation from your high school football coach in order to try out for the team.
